I used to practice rolling my rrr’s and speaking oh so francais with this one!  I saw Barbara perform once in Paris but it was near the end of her career.  I had this song in my collection thanks to my dear Aunt Judy who nurtured so much of my artistic side when I was young and then my wander side when I was in my early teens!  She had a little autograph on the album she had from Barbara, think she got it when she was working with Vogue in New York, and I keep that vinyl in the vault along with a few of my other precious ones.  This song by this artist is testament to the power of music to bridge and restore more than anything else mankind might do.  Follow the link, as I leave you with just the song for this day’s Music is Powerful Stuff from the Flimwell Papers’ Music Corner!
